Hai. I shall attempt to summarize everything. Today? Main event was tuition. I’m really overloaded la, but wth. Hope it’s beneficial. After lunch, dad spoke to us, then we all slept x) Woke up at 8PM+ but still feeling drained. Dunno why. I feel like a pig. Zzz.

The relatively new Nokia 5070 (released some time in March 2007 I think) is a cheap and reliable phone. Good for those who don’t mind simple designs and value efficiency more than features. I wouldn’t mind getting it, with it’s small size, simple design yet vibrant colors. It feels good to handle too (got a feel of Sanqian’s phone), and it has a talk time of 3hr 30min. A very big downside which is hindering me from deciding to get it would be the absence of bluetooth and a tiny 4MB memory. Critics say that it’s more or less the twin of 6070, with the exact same specs (only perhaps 800kb more memory space, and a different cover), reaffirming Nokia’s “take an old model, tweak it a bit, and sell it as a whole new product” lame concept.

The Nokia 6300 has 7.8MB memory (not say very big, but better than 5070 right?) and 3hr 30in worth of talk time, much more worth it I’d say. It’s rather slim as well (though slightly larger than my liking. Yep I’m fussy). The only downsides are the battery runs out pretty fast (1 hour talk time? Anyway by the time the end of the day arrives it needs to be charged) and it heats up when you talk on the phone/use the MP3 (don’t most phones heat up eventually anyway?). The design and bluish tint/lights to it makes it look very classy, at a cheap price too (according to the TST if you’re applicable can get it for $18)!

I realized the Nokia 7260 (the current phone I’m using) is very similar to Nokia 7360, and I’m not just talking about the fact that only their second digits are different. The have the same dimensions, weight and don’t have bluetooth. Of course overall I feel 7360 is better, with its larger memory, longer talktime (4hr as compared to 7260’s 3hr), bigger screen, and unique, artistic, exotic, bronze, girly, etc design which appeals to me.

When you talk about Nokia 7360, you start to think of the L’Amor series. Nokia 7390 is a pretty good phone. 21MB, talk time of 3hr, bluetooth, it’s more or less quite an ideal phone. However, the design (even the black version) would still be on the girly side. I find it a bit big and heavy though. It’s not the newest phone (none of these are anyway), but it’s worth considering.

Of course, not forgetting the small, simple, slim, Samsung E870 which I’ve been eying since before I even got the now-censors-not-working-Chocolate. Same length as an iPod Nano, plus it is pure white, has a talk time of up to 5hours and it has an 80MB shared memory too! -swoons- Of course, it still retains the typical Samsung phone features: non-customizable covers…. I’m not sure if the message/ring tones can be changed to MP3 files. Usually Samsung phone cameras are good but in this case I’m not so sure cos the E870 camera is a 1.3 megapixel one. Won’t go into too much details.

Speaking of phones. Here comes the long awaited -drum rolls- PHONE BILL! I’m amazed. I SMSed more than last month and the phone bill is less than last month’s. 734 messages haha 40 bucks altogether haha I can just X.X I kinda realized and deduced that they take into consideration how many SMSes you send out as well as how many you receive. Oops. I need a new plan.
